Parker is an adoptee from Savannah, Georgia who has grown up on the Traditional Territories of the Lekwungen People. In 2019 he founded This is Table Talk, beginning as a men’s circle and soon expanding into a community platform as a way to decolonize conversations within his local community through communal events, school presentations and mentorship.

Parker’s goal is to remind people that they have a voice and it is worth hearing. One of the most powerful ways he can do this is through mentoring youth with whom he shares similar life experiences as an adoptee in a transracial family. Parker is excited to offer mentorship to BIPOC youth in collaboration with A Child’s Song.
